Ella's Pre-K Graduation

In late May, Ella graduated from Pre-K. The ceremony was super cute followed by a group get together at a local restaurant and the grand final to Seaworld the following day.

This was a bittersweet day as we watched each kid walk across the stage as well as the group slideshow. Most of the kids had been at this school since they were babies. I couldn't help but think that Ella should be doing this very same thing back in Seattle with her best bud, Wesley. As I sat there and watched the video with very few images of her in it, I imagined that same video being played at Kids Centre graduation and her images all over it. I pictured many sweet images of she and Wesley playing together.

In the short time we were at Primrose, everyone graciously accepted us. Although the memories there were short, it has been the easiest transition for Ella - and she has been in a lot of schools with all of our moves. So many wonderful people. So many friends made for both Ella and myself. I know that even though we won't go to Big Kid school with most of these kids, we will remain friends and see each other at Canyon Ridge Middle School!






I believe Brian has one of her walking across the stage so I'll add that once later.

Off to Seaworld in San Antonio the next day!

As you can see, Anna Catherine (left) and Ella Grace LOVE each other! AC is going to Laura Bush Elem but we keep in touch and have playmates! Love them! Avery is on the right.

First, we sat in the "wet zone." Second, I brought ponchos and Ella wore hers. She was the smartest one because she was the only dry one in the bunch. I was DRENCHED head to toe. All the kids were so wet that they started crying (minus Ella) and we left midway through the show, haha!

Such a fun graduation! Off to Kindergarten!
