Lucky You - Happy Halloween!

For those of you have talked to me in the last few days, you know how lucky you are to actually see some pictures of Ella in her Elmo costume. For those of you who haven't, she has not been on her best behavior and we weren't sure we were going to get a Halloween picture of her this year.

Friday, I was told she wore her costume some at school, including around the block when they went for a walk on the rope. However, when I got there for the party, she refused to wear it - the only kid without a costume on. We then picked up Daddy and headed back home to a nearby restaurant. We saw kids trick or treating so we tried to put her costume on after we parked. She threw a fit but ended up wearing it. I didn't have my camera so no pictures to prove it. HOWEVER, she was awful at dinner. Shortly after we received our meal, I took her outside and Brian got me a to-go box. She was horrible and I ended up dinnerless b/c my to-go food never made it off the table.

Saturday, it poured down rain. After being holed up all day, I took Ella to Luna Park Cafe for dinner. She was an angel - not kidding. She sat on one side of the booth and me the other. No highchair needed. We even shared milkshakes w/ whipped cream on top!

Sunday, we headed to the zoo for the Pumpkin Bash. Ella refused to wear her costume and yet again, was not good. We left after about an hour and put her to bed. She woke up happy and the pictures below explain what we did the rest of the day.

She first put up a fight...
But gave in...

And realized it wasn't so bad.
On our way to trick or treat. We went to 5 or so houses while our dinner was cooking in the oven. It was pitch black out (not many street lights around our neighborhood) and we only saw about 2 kids. She was kind of confused about the whole trick or treating process and refused candy at one house. But, the 20 minute stint was perfect for us parents and Ella got to show of her cute self.

Elmo watching...well, Elmo.

About 40 dolphins swam by and splashed around as guests started seating. Pretty neat.
