These Days

Sorry I haven't been posting many pictures lately...we've been pretty busy with work (nothing new there, huh?!) and keeping on the Go! as Ella Grace is non-stop.

Last weekend, we didn't do a whole lot. Brian took Ella to the park while I did my usual morning training class then Ella and I ran errands. Have I mentioned how much she loves shoes? She's obsessed. She pulls all of mine out daily and wears them around. We also go through a few shoes changes throughout the day because she can't decide which of hers she wants to wear. So anyway, we went to Target and then shoe shopping. I bought several pairs of flats (thank God for flats still being in style - so comfy!) and Ella got a random hodge podge of stuff she picked out. See below. We also picked her out a few school outfits from GAP. Gotta love leggings.

This weekend, Brian took Ella to the park and then we headed to the Puyallup Fair in the afternoon. That was an adventure! Brian and I were reminded why we don't do this type of stuff often - we got into the general location of the fair in 40 minutes but it took 1.5 hours to get through the massive line for parking. It was jam-packed! Did I mention it was actually sunny here so everyone was outside yesterday (and of course, at the fair)?! We viewed the livestock, including a camel, which I thought was weird to have at a fair. Ella was still too young to ride all the rides so that made things difficult. Oh, and heaven forbid she sit in a stroller. She wanted to run around in an area filled with about 10,000 people! That didn't go over well for any of us. We bought her this cool bubble gun that pretty much every kid had there. Of course, she got mad because we put her back in the stroller, threw it, and broke it. There goes $13 and we had to listen to a lot of crying! But through my sarcasm here, it was fun. We had pronto pups, watched lots of cool rides, saw and petted (is that a word?) some cute animals, and enjoyed being outside.

Clear day=Rainier sighting

Elmo had to come with us

This was the loudest, eclectic drum set I had ever seen. Think lots of kids, tons of annoying "music," yet plenty of fun for the kids. Ella loved it!

More Elmo (God, help me! Pray that this is only a phase.)

The Sweetest Thing

As I was eye level with Ella Grace helping her take off her diaper before her bath, I looked up and she was smiling down at me. She then leaned over and goes "MMMMuah" and gave me two big kisses on the cheek....the sweetest thing.

How Cute are These?

They were a request for daycare - rainy season is about to begin. Boo!

Pink Lady

Don't you love the outfit her Gran and Pop bought her!!!

Florida Lovin'

Ella was obsessed with the beach. We are so lucky that the sun, water, and sand didn't phase her. She was fearless - running straight into the ocean never looking back; a wave would knock her down and she would stand up and laugh; she always wanted us to take her in the water; she loved the helicopters...it was great! No need for pool time when you have an amazing beach to soak up!

Doesn't get better than this!

Wipes are a great substitute for a chair or say...a pillow

Early morning with Mimi...Ella decided to get up at 6:30 a.m. the night after the wedding. Um, no thanks! We sent her off to play with Mimi...and you can tell they enjoyed an early morning stroll on the beach.

Love FL sunsets! Some of the best I've ever seen!

Morning pic the day we have to leave. So sad!

We're very lucky and spoiled to have such a great place to vacation to! Thanks Mom and Dad!

We'll be back in less than 4 weeks! Party time for Em's wedding!
