Last weekend, we didn't do a whole lot. Brian took Ella to the park while I did my usual morning training class then Ella and I ran errands. Have I mentioned how much she loves shoes? She's obsessed. She pulls all of mine out daily and wears them around. We also go through a few shoes changes throughout the day because she can't decide which of hers she wants to wear. So anyway, we went to Target and then shoe shopping. I bought several pairs of flats (thank God for flats still being in style - so comfy!) and Ella got a random hodge podge of stuff she picked out. See below. We also picked her out a few school outfits from GAP. Gotta love leggings.
This weekend, Brian took Ella to the park and then we headed to the Puyallup Fair in the afternoon. That was an adventure! Brian and I were reminded why we don't do this type of stuff often - we got into the general location of the fair in 40 minutes but it took 1.5 hours to get through the massive line for parking. It was jam-packed! Did I mention it was actually sunny here so everyone was outside yesterday (and of course, at the fair)?! We viewed the livestock, including a camel, which I thought was weird to have at a fair. Ella was still too young to ride all the rides so that made things difficult. Oh, and heaven forbid she sit in a stroller. She wanted to run around in an area filled with about 10,000 people! That didn't go over well for any of us. We bought her this cool bubble gun that pretty much every kid had there. Of course, she got mad because we put her back in the stroller, threw it, and broke it. There goes $13 and we had to listen to a lot of crying! But through my sarcasm here, it was fun. We had pronto pups, watched lots of cool rides, saw and petted (is that a word?) some cute animals, and enjoyed being outside.
