Here and There

Below are just some random pictures I've taken over the last week...

Yeah...that's a tomato...and yes, she loved it. She hasn't tasted a REAL tomato until she tastes one of Pop pop's homegrown ones! Delic! Maybe he'll have some for her next week when she's in Memphis (hint hint).

Bouncing her booty on the stairs. Such a lady - half naked but still wearing her shoes.

Today, we had a girls day at the beach. It was so beautiful outside - 75 degrees, a slight breeze, and not many clouds in the sky. Ella wasn't a fan of the sand, instead she read books. We also ate lots of grapes, goldfish crackers, and mini nilla wafers. We read her two books we brought with us over and over and over, people watched, waved to a lot of people, watched the cruise ships leave Puget Sound, and took snoozers. It was wonderful!

Snoozing with her booty in the air

Sand, water, snow-capped mountains hiding in the background - perfect!

And snoozing with my Blackberry in hand - such a businesswoman!

Reading...

Like her new suit?! Back view...

And side view...

Reading her FAVORITE book...Are You My Mother? By the way, while I was getting ready for work the other morning, Brian peeked in to see if she was still asleep and she was sitting in her bed quietly reading this book. I then peeked in and she was still reading it. Very cute!

More than ready to go to school. When she's ready to go, she lets you know and the whole process starts with her handing us her coat to put on.

Sharing her wafers with Otis then patting him on the back

I think she looks just like me here

Blowing bye bye kisses to Brian as Otis barks b/c he knows we're leaving (a very annoying episode he goes through every single day when we leave)

Showing off one of her new Mary D's - Gran bought her a lot of cute fabrics and Rita made them. We can't wait to see the rest! This pattern was a pattern my Great Grandmother, Mam-ma, used to make my aunt Juli and cousin Susan's outfits when they were little girls. Very special! Ella Grace is a very lucky little girl!

That's about all I have for now!

Ella

Little Waddler

Mother's Day "Sun" Day

Gorgeous day in Seattle today! I even broke out the shorts, tank top, and sandals! Now that Ella's walking, all we do is play outside. We walked to the coffee shop, then up and down the street...100 times, then played with chalk and hung out in our itty bitty yard.

But before we went outside for like the 4th time today, we'd like to tell you about Ella's boo boo. She walked outside onto our deck while I was making her cheese toast and fell pretty hard. I picked her up and then noticed her mouth was covered in blood! So thank God for Otter Pops - I grabbed one of those to get something cold on her mouth since she wouldn't let me touch it. She was fine after eating the Otter Pop:)

Very sad after her boo boo

Now off to play with chalk!

Catch-up

I know! You're waiting for another cute picture of Ella Grace. We've been way too busy and I've literally taken zero pictures of her. Will catch up this weekend.
